TweetMan I get that way all the time lol. I eat like a robot when I'm eating clean, so there isn't much variation from my day to day meals. I get to the point where I don't even taste. Food just goes in, provides fuel, then time for the next meal lol.
However, when I get to that point I've noticed the smallest changes make the biggest impact. Just something as simple as changing a seasoning, or a sauce to eat with my protein. I know it isn't good, but sometimes with my lean beef I'll add a little bit of ketchup. If that gets old, I'll mix a little mustard with ketchup and then it tastes like I'm eating a burger lol.

TweetI kinda like eating the same thing all the time. I also try to have several copies of the same clothes and to wear the same clothes all the time basically. Takes my thinking out of that arena into were it can be of greater use.

Tweeti used to. now i just do it. i change up my spices and sauces as well as different methods of cooking. something you can do to spark it back up is cut back on training and what you are eating as well for a little bit to stoke your body. that or take a day or two to eat what you want when you want. give your body a little rest so to speak

TweetThis is exactly what i do. for me it typically takes one BIG order from a fast food joint to curb that feeling of blah and get me back in the groove again.
Tweetit's very hard to tell most people to do this because most will just binge binge and binge some more. the old i will start back over on monday mentality. if i do it more than a day or two i feel like complete ass and it drives me to want to eat clean again. i cant figure out how people can eat that way day in and day out.

TweetIts the same with folks who just started hitting the gym to get in shape. they go for a week or 2 str8 then tell themselves they are going to take tomorrow off. tomorrow comes and the take that day off and before you know its i will get back into it starting Monday, then next month, and so on. just like you said about the binging on crap food except binging on not going to the gym.
speaking for myself being dedicated to this lifestyle introducing crap food for temporary gratification will have me feeling like a rolly polly grease ball mins after i finish and wreck havoc on my insides all day cz my body isnt used to eating junk. Its my dedication, discipline, and desire for results that get me back on the diet wagon so to speak ... and the hershey quirts LOL
