Who initiates the sex???

So my wife and I were having a conversation last night and it led into who initiates the sex. I am usually the instigator of this so I have never really thought about it. I say that it should be 50/50 (you could say) and if you are in the mood and want it, then get it started. But she thinks that it's not the woman's "job" to initiate it. I was like WTF? Why not? What's the difference? I then went on to explain that guys (or me anyway) want it CONSTANTLY and that we were ready all the time. I also explained that there are certain times of the month that women have "things" going on that would cause issue with this....especially on birth control because it really messes her up I NEVER have a clue when it's a bad time. So, IMO, it would be easier for her to start it....although, I have no issues with getting the ball rolling.

What are your thoughts and opinions? Is the woman excluded because it shouldn't be her "job?"

I guess the next time she asks me to cook dinner, I could just reply with "that's not my job, honey?"

Well, my wife is "ready" whenever (not wherever though) but she just doesn't think she should initiate it. Which in the grand scheme of things doesn't matter....I'll willingly start it. But I just thought it was crazy to think that it isn't her "job" to start it.

I think in most cases the male is the one to get things started. Occasionally my gf will, but 9 times out of 10, Im the one doing it.

This is a great post because my wife and i have this discussion regularly. I am always the one to get things rolling. I am the initiator, i am one with the imagination to take things to a different level and i am always the one to decide on positioning. My wife is a good sport though because in all our years she has NEVER turned me down and ALWAYS accepts my imagination and positioning without a complaint. It would just be nice if she would initiate it.

same here.my girl will get down anyplace,anytime.usually it's when i come home from the gym,eat,take a shower then when i come out just with a towel on i gotta look both ways before crossing the street,lol.she attacks me from every angle.caught her peeping one of my porn vids i had on the computer one night.she didn't think i saw her but later on i could tell she was getting ready to explode if i didn't make a move...lol.
