Do you laugh when people fall?

I was doing a lady's hair last night and when we were finised she bent oever in the chair and whacked her head! I didn't laugh of course but my co-workers had to hold back. The woman was embarrassed and I expect a call today that she is hurt. I hate when people laugh when I fall!!! What's so funny?

Watching people fall isn't funny at all, I hardly ever laugh at someone falling, infact I don't think I ever laugh, especially when I am seeing the action in person. Those that laugh and think it is funny, well the tables turn when its you and karma comes around and your falling 10x as hard as the person you laughed at did.

That is mean! I don't mean any disrespect but when you go around trapping someone do you think of what would make you fall? What if the person is smarter, faster and has better reaction time then you? Does it start to get tricky for you then? Like I said I am not being rude you could be a sports star for all I know, I am just asking you a question.

LOL>...If they pop up quick I try and act like I didnt see them to save them embarrassment. If they stay down, I run over and help them up.
This brings back memories of college. There was this one spot on campus that would freeze into a sheet of ice, then when it was snowing, the snow would cover the ice and people couldnt see it. They would be trucking it to class and would hit that ice and their feet would fly out from under them and bam! Me and my friends would sit in the upper floor of the library watching out the window , rolling on the floor laughing as one person after another would bite the dust.

i never laugh as its not very funny. if they get hurt it sucks. i guess i would laugh if someone was ok after they fell of a chair but thats about it. i find no humor in it.

Depends on the person really. I mean if it's an older person then Hell no I don't, but one of my bro's makes a bonehead move then yes, fair game. I was visiting one of our jobs sites today and heard a loud noise looked over my shoulder and an iron worker had somehow managed to unbolt the beam he was sitting on and fell about 16 feet. When he landed the beam fell on his legs and broke both of them below the knees. Not much to laugh about there. I'm sure the poor kid has a family.... sorry to be a downer. I just felt bad for the guy as he was in some pretty serious pain.

It depends on the situation. If its my friends and I playing around then yes cuz I know they would laugh at me. But if its a stranger or someone I don't know then I tend to help them up and ask if they are ok. I wouldn't like it if I fell and someone pointed and laughed instead of helping me up.

I think what has/is happening is that the media and television make it "ok" to laugh at someone else's expense. You know shows like "Funniest Home Videos". I bet alot of people get hurt but the show makes it ok to laugh. Shame
